He rajashekar,

If you're looking for a specific example using the VmodCam on the Nexys 3 we don't have such an example. The best bet you have at this is edit previous examples to fit what your looking for. A lot of the examples are designed for the Atlys board. You can probably edit the constraints to get those examples working on the Nexys 3. I provide links to various places that have different demos. I hope his will help you in your quest.

Nexys 3 - https://reference.digilentinc.com/nexys:nexys3:nexys3

Atlys - https://reference.digilentinc.com/atlys:atlys:atlys

VmodCam - https://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?NavPath=2,648,931&Prod=VMOD-CAM

Also I found a forum post on the Xilinx forums that might provide some helpful thoughts. You can view it here.

I hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Robert

Here is some more information that might help you:

-  We have a demo project doing some 3D image processing with the image acquired from VmodCAM connected to Atlys, not yet released, but you can download it from here https://www.dropbox.com/s/7iij3hkly50h4a8/3D Camera Demo Project.zip

 - We have an EDK project designed using EDK 12.4 for the Genesys. It contains a PLB based VmodCAM controller that maybe you will find useful. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7pfpvc2glrlaews/DualCam_Genesys_10May2011.zip?dl=0

- Here is a simple project for Nexys3 and VmodCam.
The project use the I2C to read the camera ID from R[0x3000]. The camera responds with 0x1580 and the LED0 and LED1 are on.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/120wtpwr40jlkol/Nexys3_VmodCam.rar
