JColvin Posted April 17, 2018 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Hi @a2retro, I believe it is due to a technical issue (though I don't personally know what it is) based on this thread as well as this Xilinx document that was linked in that thread. Based on this Xilinx thread and this Digilent forum thread, it seems that you will need to use either the Xilinx Platform Cable USB II or the XUP USB JTAG Programming Cable to program the XC9500 series chip.
