Hirose Fx2 connectors on Spartan 3E starter Kit as general purpose IO?

Hi,

I need to use Hirose FX2-100P-1.27DS header on my Spartan 3E starter kit for my project. I wanted to know if it is possible to use this connector as general purpose IO which I will connect to PCB that I designed? (I don't need clock on my PCB from this Hirose header but only Input or output signal from this header connecting PCB). Also if so how can I use it as general purpose IO because all I see is that how it can be used to connect to other FPGA board as board to board connector?

Hi, I guess you can try. These can be treated as normal IO and you just port the signal in the constraint file and HDL.
