RELATED TO ZYNQ VIVADO(AXI IIC IP)

Hello ,

i need to use AXI iic IP with custom code in zynq vivado. a zynq processor can read and write to the I2C  custom logic which is connected  with the PL.

 

I didnt get exact match tutorial whichh i explained in above paragraph..can you plz send me tutorial or example  regarding AXI I2C IP (How to use AXI IIC IP & how to add custom i2c logic to this ip & read and write process).

Hi @aiswarya,

We do not have a good tutorial for using the AXI iic IP core. I would suggest to look at our vivado library which has a few IP core that used the AXI iic IP core as a reference for using the AXI iic IP core. You can look at the bottom of our wiki in the pmod section where it separates the pmods based on the type of communication it does.  I would also suggest to look through the AXI IIC Bus Interface v2.0 LogiCORE IP Product Guide as well.

thanks for your valuable response ,but i need to design i2c communication by using vivado. any procedure or snapshot regarding how to aqdd i2c core block and how to use?

Hi @aiswarya,

I would check out chapters 4 and 5 of this Xilinx Guide for how to design I2C communication in Vivado; this is the same guide that we use at Digilent when creating our own I2C based IPs.
