JColvin Posted February 21, 2018 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Hello again @theUltimateSource, I learned a little more info about the fan; you can use just a two-wire fan (as you probably suspected). The 3-wire fan was originally chosen because the 2-wire fan was thought to be too loud, but maybe that's not a concern for your application. I was told that it should be a Sunon MC17080V2-0000-G99, but I haven't actually been able to find a direct link to that particular part on Mouser or Digikey, so I'm finding out some more information. Otherwise, the major features of the fan that you would need to care about in terms of hardware is that it is 5VDC and 3-wires.
