recommendation on FPGA board

Question

Hi there, I am new to FPGA. I read few articles about using FPGA  as DDS to produce high frequency signal. I need to a development board be able to create sine of about 150MHz or time resolution less than 8ns. Any board recommended for that purpose? Thanks.

Hi, perhaps, currently NetFPGA 1G CML with 200MHz may be suitable for you. It is for original networking application powered by the Xilinx Kintex 7.

Or, there will be a coming soon Genesys 2 (replacement for the current Genesys http://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?NavPath=2,400,819&Prod=GENESYS). The clock speed is also 200 Mhz

Thanks. But the Genesys is current out of stock. I just saw a board http://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?NavPath=2,400,1175&Prod=ANVYL. As a beginner, I cannot tell much different between this and the genesys. As mentioned before, I am mainly focusing on multiple channels DDS output in synchronize mode. But I am a bit worry about the maximum frequency of sine wave and resolution of frequency and phase. Do you think the anvyl board is good for my requirement? Thanks.
