j.kellerNPE
Hi, I saw on a different thread (https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/344-jtag-smt1-vs-smt2/#comment-1139) that the SMT2 can serve as a drop-in replacement for the SMT1 as long as the GPIO pins are left floating. I have here a KC-705 development board (http://www.xilinx.com/products/boards-and-kits/ek-k7-kc705-g.html) with a broken SMT1 on it. Is the SMT2 footprint-compatible as well? Thanks, Jon
Alex
Hi, the footprint for SMT2 should be slightly different from that of SMT1. So, it shouldn't be the drop in replacement. However, it is the best alternative
