SMT2 Replacement

j.kellerNPE

Question

Hi,

I saw on a different thread (https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/344-jtag-smt1-vs-smt2/#comment-1139) that the SMT2 can serve as a drop-in replacement for the SMT1 as long as the GPIO pins are left floating. I have here a KC-705 development board (http://www.xilinx.com/products/boards-and-kits/ek-k7-kc705-g.html) with a broken SMT1 on it. Is the SMT2 footprint-compatible as well?

Thanks,

Jon
