Jay Sngh
What is the operating temperature range of Basys 3 Board and Digilent PMOD modules ?
jpeyron
Hi @Jay Sngh, The FPGA on the Basys 3 is commercial grade 0 to 85 degrees Celsius. I believe this is the most temperature sensitive component on the Basys 3. In regards to the Pmod modules most are commercial grade 0 to 85 degrees Celsius but it can vary depending on Pmod. cheers, Jon
Jay Sngh
Are there any test certificate for operating range of Basys 3 boards ?
jpeyron
Hi @Jay Sngh, We did not test the operating temperature range for the Basys 3 boards. This is a metric we would not be able to provide. You can look at the individual components datasheets for temperature ranges to better understand the Basys 3's operating temperature range. If you are concerned about thermal damage I would suggest using a heat sink and/or a small fan. thank you, Jon

JColvin
Hi @Jay Sngh, I have received the Declaration of Conformity's for the Basys 3, the Pmod USBUART, and the Pmod RS232. The other two Pmods (the Pmod LVLSHFT and the Pmod SSR) are exempted based on "subassembly exemption". All of our boards are designed with UL-94V0 rated PCB material and are RoHS Complaint. Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you, JColvin
