Randy
I am using the Protocol in UART mode to communicate with a SIM800 using AT commands. everything is fine but the SIM800 expects me to terminate my message with CTRL-Z which is a hex1A or a decimal 26. How do I send this from the Tx line?
attila
Hi @Randy With the currently released version (v3.6.8) this is only possible using send file. You have in private message a beta version adding support for escape characters and custom ending for Protocol/UART
Randy
Thanks, I'll try the beta version, that will be a big help. How would I include the control character in a file? Does the documentation for the beta version include instructions on how to send ctrl characters? I do a lot of work in the field in Africa doing humanitarian work. This product has been a real help
attila
Hi @Randy Select Ending Custom and enter "\x1A" and you can also enter escape characters in TX field.
