MBALI Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 Hi, I am looking to implement the use of Ethernet port of the Zybo board without Zynq PS. I am using Windows OS and Vivado 2017.2. I have already implemented the Iwip echo server project. Is there any suggestions or guideline about the use of Ethernet port on Zybo without Zynq PS? Thank you in advance. jpeyron Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 Hi @MBALI, The Zybo board has a ZYNQ processor on it. Certain components on the board are directly connected to the ZYNQ processor and would not be able to use without the PS. UART and Ethernet are a couple of these components. Unfortunately, you would not be able to use the Ethernet without the ZYNQ PS. I have also attached an image of the ZYNQ processor that should help with seeing the situation I am describing.
