PhilS
How can Analog Discovery 2 O-scope acquire data after a given time delay after a trigger, or after a given number of triggers on Scope Channels 1 or 2? This is a common function on older scopes, can AD2 perform this function? Thank You - Phil S
attila
Hi @PhilS The horizontal trigger/time position can be used to acquire post trigger data. This can be set even outside of the acquisition window. Trigger count is only available in logic analyzer and the scope in mixed mode (scope+logic) can trigger on digital line. In scope trigger for analog inputs the following options are available: edge, pulse, transition, hold-off.. The WaveForms application can be used in demo mode to see the available features. PhilS
Thank You for your reply. Being able to set the trigger outside the acquisition window works fine. And 2 more questions: 1. Is it possible to write a script to count N analog input triggers before acquiring a window of analog signal? 2. Can the horizontal trigger/time position be entered via keyboard vs using the mouse to set the Horizontal trigger /time? -Phil
attila
Hi @PhilS 1. No, because the script is running in the software, like the data logging done on acquisition. You could eventually write script to process or save to file only every 10th acquisition, in Script tool or in Logging. 2. Sure, all around the application you can type in value to the combobox entry fields. Leaving it or pressing enter processes the entered value.
