Custom UI Discovery 2 Data Acquisition

Hello All, 

We currently have the Discovery 2 in lab and use Waveforms to collect data. Is there anyway I can build a UI( think a simple form, name , value pairs )

into waveform to capture meta data while collection a sequence of scans ? I would like to embed the data into the scan file header or maybe in a txt file that I can write into the directory

where the data is being written.

PS: I see that Matlab Supports the first version of the card, but nothing announced for version 2

Are looking for the WaveForms/Scope/View/Logging?
For this, you can write custom script to log data and save acquisition.

Thanks but no, I was looking to build a custom UI to gather meta data for each acq. run. It seems like there is a low level C API for doing this.

The WaveForms SDK for custom applications (manual, examples) is included in the WaveForms setup. These are by default installed to:
- Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Digilent\WaveFormsSDK or C:\Program Files\Digilent\WaveFormsSDK
- Linux: /usr/share/digilent/waveforms/manual and samples
- OS-X: /Applications/WaveForms.app/Contents/Resources/SDK
