Hi,

In the Protocol tool, the UART tab

The ´Receive to File´ and ´Save´ button generate a windows error by me.

Hi @HansV

What error message go you get?

The last used open/save folder is remembered by the application and this might point to an invalid location.
You could try to launch "WaveForms - Safe Mode" which resets app options and last used path.

Hi @HansV

"The file name is not valid" is show for instance when the extension is missing.

"You don't have permission ..." is shown for protected folders.

The cause is that the UART/Save dialog has no default extension.
I will try to revise this for the next release.

Thank you for the observation.
