In my test setup, a digilent jtag cable is used for boundary scan and following are my observations.
1. if two ARC processors are connected in chain then am able to read/write to my memories through both the processors but if I will put seven processors in chain then through FIRST processor am not able to access the memories but with others its working fine.
2. but if I will use a ashling cable its working with both two and seven processor.
3. in 7 processor mode, when am changing the processor number from second to first am getting an ERROR that tap controller in logic reset state.
Questions:
1.Is it related to TMS? or the pull up used on TMS?

Hi,

Questions:
1.Is it related to TMS? or the pull up used on TMS?
2.How much the strength of pull up should be?
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.
