Analog Discovery 2 doesn't seem to be working

Installed WaveForms 2015 on my Mac. First it didn't detect the device. Followed instructions on https://huelectronics.wordpress.com/2015/03/02/digilent-waveforms-for-macs/. Then device was detected. I can see the heartbeat LED blinking. But the device doesn't seem to be working. To verify I put it in Voltmeter mode, and fed 2.5V into it directly. The current value is very small. Voltmeter shows 13mV. Is there any problem with the device?

Could you please describe or attach a picture of what AD2 cables you are using to measure/generate the voltage as well as a screen shot of the voltmeter/supplies screens. Just to verify Waveforms 2015 sees the AD2, correct. Have you tried using the wavegen to create a sine wave and then check it using the scope? Have you tried calibrating the AD2?
