Issue with USB-JTAG cable and Impact

Hello, I'm having a problem using the XUP USB-JTAG programmer with Impact. 

If I try to use the cable as the "Digilent USB JTAG Cable", I get a "The cable selected is not available, please select a different one." error message.  However, if I select it as a "Platform Cable USB/II" cable, Impact find it just fine and lists "Cable connection established" in the console box.

So, using it as a platform cable, I try to initialize the chain and get the attached error message.  The board I'm using is fully functional and has been programmed before.  I've triple checked my JTAG pinout and connections. 

Does anyone have any ideas on where to look?

 

The device is a Xilinx XC9572XL and I'm using Impact 14.7.

Here is the Platform Cable USB pdf that walks you through set up and using the XUP USB JTAG with iMPACT. We have limited support for the XUP USB JTAB since we are a re-seller of this product. I would also suggest to reach out to the Xilinx forums here.
