I need a low-cost waveform generator, and I want to confirm that the AD2 will do what I need prior to purchasing. My requirements are as follows:
LabVIEW API
One output channel: square wave at 1kHz minimum
Second output channel: sine wave sweep from 3MHz to 5MHz typically, possibly up to 10 MHz
At least 5 Vpp sine amplitude
The spec sheet for the AD2 (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/AnalogDiscovery2NIDatasheet.pdf) seems to imply that it can accommodate these specs, but the wording on the analog bandwidth is a little fuzzy, so I wanted to check. If anyone can confirm that the AD2 is an appropriate choice, I'd appreciate it.
