wigs
New to electronics and the Discovery 2--Since the AWG leads do not pass through the BNC Adapter board, can I just use one of my scope probes on the 1X setting as a test lead? Anything I need to be careful of when doing so?
attila
Hello, Probably you want to use DC coupled scope inputs. Verify the AC/DC jumper positions on the BNC adapter board. For AWG output you probably want 0 output impedance. With the 50/0 jumper you can select 50 Ohm or 0 output impedance.
wigs
Thanks...have since purchased a bnc to alligator clip test lead (https://goo.gl/c6DKdA), so no longer an issue. Wish one of these had been included, or at least suggested along with probes, with purchase of the bnc board. But, nonetheless, I'm off and running. Thanks again.
