NetFPGA-SUME PCIE-WAKE signal

jamey.hicks

Question

Hi,

I downloaded the schematics for the NetFPGA-SUME and I'm working on a constraint file. (Is there one available?)

On the first page, I see a signal PCIE-WAKE connected to the WAKE# pin of the PCIe connector. Where does that signal connect? Is that used to trigger PCIe rescan?

Or is that the purpose of PCIE-PRSNT_B?

Thanks,

Jamey

The XDC went up last night here: https://reference.digilentinc.com/sume:sume.

I can't say what the purpose of the two PCIe pins is (Sorry not very familiar with PCIe spec), but the pins you mentioned are connected to the FPGA (they are in the master XDC file). Looking at the schematic, PCIe Wake appears to be an output only, and the PCIe-PRSNT and PCIe-PERST seem to be inputs. Hope that helps somewhat
