Arty Board MIG files not working in Vivado 2016.4

Hi,

   When I try and use the provided mig.prj and arty_c_mig.ucf files in Vivado (i.e. creating a new block design, and adding MIG IP).

   When I select "Verify Pin Changes and Update Design", then select the two files, Vivado says "Could not reload the Non-AXI design in the IPI.  Please load the AXI design".

   My project was started without selecting the Arty Board, I instead selected the FPGA target and loaded the XDC file, which gives me more control over the pins than if I setup the project using the Arty board setup.

   I verified that the PRJ and UCF files work if I select IP Catalog from the Project Manager, but when the IP is generated I cannot figure out how to get it into the block design.   If I click the Add IP button from within the block design window and select MIG and select the PRJ and UCF files then I get the error I mentioned above.

   Perhaps I am just confused about how I am supposed to get the MIG generated.

Are you using the schematic design method(s), or the more generic VHDL/Verilog methods?  That might help to determine the appropriate answer.  (Yes, the latter can be done--I'm using MIG via Verilog in my OpenArty project.)
