Genesys 2 Kintex-7 - Linking Boards

Can you use a FMC to FMC cable (such as HiTech Global's FMC to FMC Vita 57.1) to chain two (2) Genesys 2 boards together to create a distributed FPGA design that treats the two (2) Kintex-7 XC7K325T's as one monolithic device to provide an effective 552,160 logic cells?

Hi @Lee,

Our FMC's  are designed to meet the 57.1 spec so the FMC to FMC cable would work. This would allow you to have the two boards have high speed communications between each other. You would still need to generate a bitstream and program each board separately as well as design the communication process between the two boards.
