JTAG-HS2 and kintex board

Quique

Question

Hello we are about to buy a JTAG-HS2 to program our kintex fpga.  The fpga belongs to a chain made up of two parts: a xc2c256 cpld and the XC7K410T fpga.

My questions are:

1) Is the JTAG-HS2 compatible with this FPGA (and this chain)?

2) Could we use ADAPT sw to to program it.

3) Could both adept and drivers be installed in a Linux CentOS?

Thanks in advance

Quique

That sounds good! Thank you very much,

By the way, we have an SPI flash attached to the FPGA. Is it possible to indirect-prigramming the flash with JTAG-HS2? I saw a note in the JTAG-HS2 manual saying that remote device config is not possible using IMPACT, but I'm not sure what this means.

Page 6 of  attached file: "Remote device configuration is not supported for the JTAG-HS2 when used with Xilinx's iMPACT software. "

Thanks

Quique
