Nexys 2 usb drive

In widows 7 can not drive usb.i want program spartan with usb cable.please help my.tanks

Hi Hamzeh,

You should be able to use Adept 2 to program you bit file to the Nexys 2. Here is a link to the software. Are you using ISE 14.7 to generate the bit file?

yes dear i use adept2 v2.16 .my Windows  was not known the nexys2 board when plug usb cable to pc.

I can't program fpga.

Hi Hamzeh,

When you go into the device manager are you able to see a digilent device is connected under usb? Could you take screen shots of what you see. Have you tried using a different cable. Not all USB A to Micro-B cables have the data line attached, some just have the power connected in the cable.

when connected to pc in device managaer show unknown device .

i  using 3 a different cable but not result.

I would uninstall and then re-install adept 2, reboot computer and then try connecting.

Hi Hamzeh,

Here is a step by step wiki with pictures on how to remove programs in Window's 7. After you have removed Adept 2 re-install it and reboot the computer. At this point re-try to connect the Nexys 2 using the Adept software.
