0 Cristian.Fatu 37 Posted January 15, 2015 I post here the answer we gave when you announced us about this: There are some complex and historical design issues about the RTS / DTR and the cap. This is all part of the auto reset circuit. Originally RTS was part of that circuit and originally we loaded that 100 ohm resistor. Later we determined that hooking up RTS created problems it was just more reliable to remove the 100 ohm resistor. You will see on newer boards we do not connect RTS. DTR is critical to the auto reset functionality and is required for the proper operation of the board. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
