We purchased Digilent JTAG HS3 rev. A download cable. It functioned well within 10 days. Then during programming QSPI Flash there appeared a message saying that was no access to the JTAG
and the programming process was interrupted. After that the download cable stopped being recognized as USB device; during connecting to USB socket the cable (FT232HQ) heats up a lot.
We would like to understand what lead to that. Perhaps, we disrupted some procedures during connecting or powering the device.
We still have one such download cable available. So, we would like to get recommendations on the correct usage to prevent damage of the other one.
