send signal/data out from FPGA through Ethernet

Hello All,

I am a beginner in FPGA and to start with I want to sent the output of a 8 bit counter to the outside world through ethernet. My counter is working. Can anyone please send me any links or pdf or suggestions which can help me to send the data out of the FPGA through ethernet.

There is an ethernet demo for the Genesys board available here, which should help show some of the basic concepts behind the Ethernet protocol. Which FPGA are you using?

Hello!

 

I also want to send data through ethernet, I purchased a Nexys 4 for this purpose and I work in Vivado. I tried to do it with these IPs, Tri-Mode Ethernet MAC IP and AXI Ethernet Lite, but when I add the MII to RMII core in the examples designs it doesn't work. Is there some example working for this FPGA? or other steps to make it works?
