i have atlys board, i want to interface computer lcd (i.e. vga display) with it. guide me the right direction to start and what are the possible ways.

Have you taken a look at the Atlys resources page?  You'll find an HDMI demo that may well be exactly what you are looking for.

i have one more project to complete, i want to connect a usb mass storage and wanna read through Ethernet, just like we connect to a network PC and share files.

I'm not sure what you are planning to use for a USB mass storage device.  When I look over over the Atlys reference page, I don't see any generic USB capability that could be turned into a USB mass storage capability.

Ethernet isn't too hard to do, and I can point you towards a reference MII implementation if you would like (it uses the Arty).  Getting the network stack working is another issue entirely, although I would expect Xilinx has a reference implementation, should you be using microblaze.
