ISE reference design for displaying color bar, Genesys board

I have read in the Genesys board's reference manual that a reference design that displays color bars on the screen, I already checked the resource center but I can't find it, could you please help me

Hi taloeddine,

Here is the Genesys resource center. At the bottom of the page you'll see the Out of the Box Demo which will test every component of the board including VGA and HDMI. You can take a look.

Thank you for your help, I am lookin for the ISE project, meaning I would like to access the VHDL file of the DVI transmitter

Unfortunately for this kind of high end boards we don't make ISE projects but EDK projects how you could see on the website. The HDMI for this board was provided with a chip (CH7301C) that Xilinx used for their boards and we also used their IP core that is documented here.

On the other hand I could suggest to search for some VHDL sources for this chip CH7301C. On a quick google search I could find something in Verilog but I don't know if it helps you.

Hi Takieddine,

I found a Genesys FPGA Implementation of the NES on Github which has a HDMI controller in HDL here. This might help as well!
