Questions about CoolRunner II CPLD

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Xilinx CPLD XC2C54A, I bought a Cmod: Breadboardable CoolRunner-II CPLD Module recently and try to use the platform do some experiment for our design.

However, besides DataSheet and Schematic I didn't see any tutorial or example projects available for this board on digilent's website.  If possible, could someone point me to the resource that could help me learn about this Architecture?  Any sample code, tutorial I could follow?

Hi silverwolfman,

The CoolRunner II is one of our retired products so there isn't a whole lot of active support for it. However, we were able to get the source code for the starter kit that used to come with it available in this thread on our forum.

Hi Silverwolfman,

I found 2 GIT hub projects here  and here and a basic tutrorial here. Refer to the schematic if you need to constaint anything else that was not in the ucf files of the two GIT Hub projects. Hope this helps!
