Cmod S6 and Cmod A7 operating temperatures

Question

A customer on our website asked the following question:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We want to buy Cmod S6 and Cmod A7 products but I could not see operating temperatures of these products. Are these products suitable for -40, +85 centigrade degrees? If not, do you have any alternatives which satisfy this requirement?

Best regards,

Hey,

Unfortunately both of these boards use the "commercial" flavor of the chips. This means that the FPGA operating range is specced at 0 C to 85 C. This can be found of the data sheets below. This also does not take additional hardware on the board into account. The industrial versions of these chips meet your range but I don't believe Digilent has any boards that have them. Although if you are just looking at the high bound, you may be fine. If that's the case, we can look at the hardware on the board and see if it too can stand the heat.
