JTAG-HS3 has died

Hello,

So it seams my JTAG-HS3 Programmer has died. Nether Adept or iMpact software no longer sees it when plugged in. It had bee working well. I have re-booted the computer, tried different know good usb cables and ports.  

Any thoughts?

Please open Device Manager and see if something appears when you plug the HS3.

Hello Cristian,

In device Manager, under USB, it attaches as "USB Serial Converter" Clicking on Properties, It shows that FTDI is the Mfg and that the "Device is working properly"

It sounds like the Eprom has some issues. I am going to refer your escalation to our expert that deals with this type of issue. It may be a little longer than a week before they are able to respond to your issue due to vacation.

Hello,

Make sure the Load VCP is NOT checked under USB Serial Converter properties Advanced tab. After uncheck reconnect the device. It is fine if Advanced tab is not present.
Also check the driver version. Make sure is not 2.12.4
