Opencv For Zybo

Hello dear friends,

 

I have been trying to run a c++ code which uses opencv library on zybo board. But unfortunately am stack. I have RAMDisk on my zybo. Can any one point me on how to proceed from this point onwards?

Hi,

 

What software stack are you using? Do you have an SD card filesystem or just a RAM disk?

 

Open CV is a bit hard to build on some stacks (such as Android) because it uses C++ Standard Template Library.

 

We run headless Android on our Zynq boards and have binaries for opencv for that stack. Would that be helpful? Here is a pointer to the repo containing the SDK:

I basically did the same thing and when coping the libraries in the install folder to the lib folder of my zybo it's complaing about not having enough space.

I see. I think it would be helpful if you had an SD Card and you could copy the libraries to the filesystem on the SD card so that it did not fill your RAM disk.

I just tried it with an sd card and still have the same problem(no space to copy the libraries to the lib directory).

 

If not to much trouble can you explain me or direct me to a tutorial on how to use SDK for making a boot image for zynq board with opencv library included.

uh oh, we've exceeded my expertise. I have not used the SDK to make a boot image. If no one here knows the answer, you might try asking on the Xilinx forums.
