omikron
Hello, When sending the picture over HDMI, how to choose the correct pixclk and serialclk? I have the project, that sends the RGB data at 7MHz pixel frequecy, for example. V=50Hz, H=15625.
hamster
Hi, In the HDMI specs the minimum resolution of 640x480 @ 60Hz, which has a pixel clock frequency is of about 25MHz (25.175 MHz IIRC) - see http://www.microprocessor.org/HDMISpecification13a.pdf If your pixel clock is lower than this you will have to add a scan-line doubler, and send each pixel twice (to make each pixel into a 2x2 square). omikron
Is there a table of H,V and PixClk for the most common video modes?
D@n
There's actually quite a few tables, all available for the googling. Here's one I found. Let us know if this helps, Dan
