PMOD RS485 with Zybo

I am interested in interfacing the Zybo with the RS485 PMOD. Can I use the high-speed PMOD interfaces on the board (JB, JC, JD)?

Hi @mre2all,

Yes, those Pmod ports can be used with the Pmod RS485. You can either use a UART controller in HDL to communicate with the Pmod RS485 or if you want to use the IP flow/Zynq processor you can setup an AXI UART IP that connects to the Pmod port of interest that you want to use. Using a high speed Pmod port vs a non-high speed Pmod port should not be an issue in terms of hardware connectivity with the Pmod RS485.
