thoonky
Hello there, I do not seem to find the USB for UART/JTAG together with FTDI chip in the schematics for Cora Z7. Can someone share that? The link pdf that I got is https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/digilent/resources/programmable-logic/cora-z7/Cora+Z7_sch-public.pdf
0 JColvin
Hi @thoonky, Digilent has made the choice not share this page of the schematic for our boards. Thanks, JColvin

0 JColvin
Hi @thoonky, I don't know what operating system you are using on your PC, but you can look to see if the board is detected on a Windows system by seeing if the COM port and the USB Serial Converter A and USB Serial Converter B show up in the Device Manager (under COM Ports and Universal Serial Bus controllers, respectively). On Linux, you can use lsusb to see if the board shows up; I also know for Vivado installations on Linux based OS's that you will need to manually download the cable drivers separately. I am not sure about how a Raspberry Pi would detect the board. There are some additional images on how this would look on a Windows system here: https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/21713-brand-new-basys-3-user-cant-get-vivado-to-see-it/#comment-62685. You can also see if the lightweight Digilent Adept System, https://digilent.com/reference/software/adept/start, properly detects the Cora Z7. If you haven't already, it may also be a good idea to test a different USB cable; not all cables are set up to do data communication. Let me know if you have any questions. 0 thoonky
Thanks JColvin. I got it resolved. Somehow most of my micro USB cables do not have the data lines (more of power charging). I found 1 in the end it is working.
