What is the difference between DS18B20 and DS1820

I am not clear the specific difference between these two chips. I have seen the 12-bit conversion method and the 9-bit conversion method in the data, assuming this is the internal selection method of the B20 (if it is, then what is the conversion between the two methods). 18B20 is 12-bit, 1820 is 9-bit, please give some advice who have used this chip, thank you!

I haven't used either of these chips, though I would probably recommend looking at their respective datasheets (link1, link2) from Maxim Integrated as that will be the best source of accurate information regarding the chips.

I think the default data precision is different between the above two. 18B20 should be 12 bits and 18S20 may be 9 bits by default. You shift the data obtained by s20 by 3 bits left and see if the result is closer to b20.
