Record progress is obscured when there is no white waveform where the status updates

Waveforms version 3.16.28

 

In the screenshot (attached) the capture progress is almost impossible to read because the black text is drawn on top of a black background.

 

I suggest drawing this progress in the area where the text says "Trig'd" with a green bounding rectangle

It looks like in some places instead of the Digital color the Style is used.
As a solution use the Dark Style option.

I think the problem is that the color of the are where the text is presented can be either black or white depending on the previous capture.  My suggestion is to try one of the following:

1) draw the progress in the bar above the waveform drawing area (same vertical location as the "Armed" and "Trig'd" messages) or

2) draw a filled, bounding box in the inverted color of the text color, then draw the text
