I am working on my thesis and i have had a problem for quite some time now.
Whenever I try to update my code with make_prog_files which runs update_mem it doesn't work the way it is intended.
I have to run all the steps from synthesis to write_bitstream in order for my software to update which means that I have to wait 20 minutes for every minor adjustment in my code.
I am using Vivado 2020.1. But the project I am working on was originally created on Vivado 2018.2.
I am not sure if this is the reason behind my problem but I thought I should mention it.
