AD2 Factory Calibration

Hi,

 

The forums indicate there is a factory calibration applied to the AD2.

How long does this calibration officially last?

 

Where can I get into the details of the software-guided calibration?

I'd like to know how its generating the multiplicative, additive, and offset values for the WaveGen, Scope and PSU.

Hi @MissingRedstone,

I have moved your question to a more appropriate section of the Forum where the engineer much more familiar with the WaveForms software and the Analog Discovery typically looks.

That being said, I don't believe there are details on how the calibration is done specifically. I also haven't seen any official numbers on how long the calibration lasts, likely because it is environment dependent.

I tried following the steps to calibrate my AD2 but the values do not change as I progress through the wizard. It remains 0V throughout the process of checking the waveform generator. 

What do I do?

Hi @Johnny,

Presuming the wires were all connected correctly and there was not any pins accidentally connected to ground, and loading the factory calibration does not help, then the WaveForm generator may be damaged. You can contact digilent dot support at ni dot com for warranty options.
