Genesys Zu-3EG HDMI Tx and Rx port Connection

Hello, according to the image from GenesysZu-3eg, I can see a HDMI Tx and Rx interface. Can I solder a tx and Rx HDMI port according to the schematic and use this connection? Can I have this support from Digilent? Is there any established circuit connection or just the design? Since it is not sure when 5ev will release, this kind of support will be really helpful.

Hi @rappysaha,

I don't believe you will be able to do this as the appropriate IC's aren't loaded and the 3EG is lacking the GTH transcievers needed, as noted in the Genesys ZU Reference Manual and schematic. I have reached out to get official confirmation on this.

You will need to have licenses for the HDMI TX Subsystem, HDMI RX Subsystem and the VPHY controller. You may request an evaluation license or purchase one here.
