Are Pmods supported on the Nexys 2/xilinx ISE?

Hello, I am wanting to get a pmod-ad5 for my nexys board. The tutorials I have seen look like the pmods are added only under the vivado suite, but the no-longer-supported nexys 2 board can only work on the ISE. Do the pmods still work on the Nexys 2?

Hi @Rick G,

Not with the existing demo materials that Digilent has, as those are all intended to be working with the Vivado software. I would probably recommend taking a look at this thread: https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/153-pmod-ad5/?sortby=date as that has some HDL material for the Pmod AD5.
