Can I run both DD and AD2 simultaneously on the same system?

Hello,

I am trying to run the following simultaneously on a Windows10 machine: 

Digital Discovery controlled by WaveFroms

and

Analog Discovery 2 controlled by Labview 

 

Is that possible?

Yes. 

In the Initialize VI you can specify the device name (like "Discovery2" or "Analog Discovery 2") or serial number ("SN:210321######").

Hi Atilla, I usually leave that field blank. The behavior I get is very subtle. The AD2 (under Labview control) will not trigger anymore if the DD is connected too. No error messages are displayed, just absence of trigger. I will try to give the AD2 a name in Labview and see if it makes a difference.

I just confirmed that specifying the device a name in the Init VI, solved the problem!
