i try to build up a connection between a PC and a RS485 device as you can see in the attached Sketch. To convert the UART-Signal from the PMOD RS485 I use a converter from UART to USB (FTDI-Chip). But i can't get any connection. From the PC I can only transmit and i did not get any expected reply from the PMOD. I have also tested the connection with a RS485 to USB converter and with this type of adapter it works.
Can anyone check and tell me if the Setup is correct?
