XUP USB-JTAG Vivado 2019.2 Win10

Question

Hello

this question has been raised and answered many times but my issue still remains the same.

I am not able to open the target on any board that we have in the lab. I tried a different programmer and that works but I can't see the target with the XUP Diligent one. That is the only one that will allow me to program the device others fail on that part.

So here is what I see in the Hardware manager:

hw_manager_screenshot.thumb.png.b33c8ae13b977c22c7cb3abe5b043a3f.png

and the screenshot of my device manager with the driver details:

Everything was installed as admin, please help me. Would it help if were to re-install Vivado?

I tried all the steps that were in the other forums. But the wdreg command isn't recognised. Also the win10 files, so I uninstalled the drivers manually over the device manager. I tried every suggestions in the forums in different orders as well. Nothing worked. I don't what is left but maybe I made a mistake.

Thanks

Regards

Hi @ainam,

I want to clarify up front that the XUP USB JTAG cable is not created or manufactured by Digilent.

The main directions, which I imagine you've seen based on what you said, are the ones listed in this specific post here: https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/13275-xup-usb-jtag-programmer/?do=findComment&comment=40008.

If wdreg isn't recognized, you might try the steps listed in this xilinx post here: https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Xilinx-Evaluation-Boards/Problem-installing-Platform-Cable-USB-DLC9G-driver/m-p/455756/highlight/true#M9203, or you may need to add wdreg to the environmental variables. This process is described here: https://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/fix-not-recognized-as-an-internal-or-external-command/.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
JColvin
