I have started using the PMOD MTDS display board, using the digilent library. Concerning orientation there are only two values on the SetDisplayOrientation method, dsoLandscape and dsoPortrait. So if the display is oriented with the PMOD connector on the left and the silkscreen at the correct orientation (as shown below, image from the Digilent MTDS page), the text on the display is shown upside down if the dsoLandscape mode is selected. With some clever math transformations, this is ok for shapes, but it doesn't work with text, as the font is saved inside the display PIC firmware.
Is there a method I am missing or another way to have the text displayed with the correct orientation?
