Pynq Z1 board files

Hi ,

I have been unable to locate the Vivado board files for the Pynq Z1 FPGA board. i am about to purchase and I would like to build the project in Vivado first.

Hi @svaughn442,

We don't have board files specifically for the Pynq Z1, though you can use the board files for the Arty Z7-20 which is a very similar board in terms of both specifications and layout.

Please note that all support and materials for the Pynq-Z1 board are located on http://www.pynq.io/.

I would have the same issue, as I am just about to start some projects with the Z1 (which is a great one by the way ;)) Would it be possible for you to create a Board file and include it in the Master Board Archive on GitHub? This would help tremendously.

Also same request.  I can pull the Arty, they do look similar.

I will bring up this request with the appropriate managers, but the last I heard was that there was no plans to dedicate resources towards create a board file specifically for the Pynq Z1.

I was actually looking for board design files, pcb files, altium, orcad, pads, gerbers, soemthing like that.  The repo holds xml files for the software design environment only?

Digilent has made the choice not to provide the design files for our products.
