Pinout FMC connector of XC7A200T

Elie

Question

Hi,

I'm searching for the pinout of the FMC connector on the XC7A200T board, without success.

It's written in the datasheet :

"The pinout of the FMC connector can be found in the UCF/XDC constraints file available on www.digilentinc.com"

But I get no result.

Can anyone help me to find this information?

Thanks.

Regards.

Elie

Hello Elie,

By " XC7A200T board " do you mean Nexys Video board (http://store.digilentinc.com/nexys-video-artix-7-fpga-trainer-board-for-multimedia-applications/) ?

Then, please click on Resource Center link on the above mentioned page. It will lead you to this page https://reference.digilentinc.com/nexys-video:start

This page contains (under Digital Resources group) the board's Master XDC: https://reference.digilentinc.com/_media/nexys-video/nexysvideo_master.zip.

Please open the NexysVideo_Master.xdc file from the zip. Scroll down and look for ## FMC. Following this comment you will see all the xdc lines corresponding to the FMS signals.

The attached image explains signals naming:FMCNaming.jpg

Good luck,

Cristian

Hi Elie,

The constraints file that it is referring to can be found on the Nexys Video Resource Center under the Design Resources header (I'll put in a request to update the reference manual to reflect this). You can also get this information from the Nexys Video schematic here on page 2.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,
JColvin

Hello,

As a follow up to this thread, I have compiled a document that directly relates the FMC connector pins to the FPGA package pins (available for download in this comment). Additionally, I marked on a picture the relative locations of where each of the four rows of FMC pins are physically located for user's convenience. That picture is available here in our Forum Gallery.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
JColvin
