Basys 2 board Register I/O



I am having trouble writing an 8 bit data to an 8 bit address on the Register I/O section of the adept 2.  Since I can't write data, I can't read data either.

Would appreciate some feedback.

Hi @Dan Abraham

The Register IO interface in the Adept application is the PC front end for the EPP protocol. You can use this to communicate with the EPP interface implemented in your device FPGA.
See the EPP in the Adept SDK:
