output voltage of pattern generator from Waveform softar

Hi everyone

I am using demo of waveform software

to generate patterns, but i wonder about the output voltage of pattern can be 1.8v or not.

can you give me some advices for this?

Hi @tikitiki

On Digital Discovery the digital IO voltage is adjustable between 1.2V and 3.3V, as well drive strength, slew rate, pull.

On Analog Discovery the digital output voltage is 3.3V. The 5th device configuration provides ~0.5V logic threshold which is suitable for 1.2-1.8V analysis.

so you mean when i make the Pattern Generator like this

 

and control the voltage in supply is 1.8
it mean that the output of pattern generator is 1.8v
can you confirm for me this one?

As you say demo, I'm assuming you're running Waveforms in demo mode; that is, without a real device connected.

If this is so, you cannot produce voltages or connections to get results. You need a real Digital Discovery or Analog Discovery, etc. with properly connected inputs and outputs to match the configuration of the Waveforms setup.
