We're planning to use the JTAG-SMT3-NC in a design and wanted to vet the circuit. So we bread boarded a JTAG-SMT3-NC and ran it's JTAG IO to the JTAG header on a Nexys Video Artix-7 FPGA board that we had on hand (since the JTAG header is easily accessed). The plan was to bypass the onboard programming circuitry and see if we could program through the pod. Both Adept and Vivado software can see and recognize the JTAG-SMT3-NC but we can't seems to get it to see the FPGA on the Nexsys. As far as we can tell from available schematics we should be directly connected to the JTAG lines. We have also checked reference voltage levels and confirmed IO routing. Feels like we're missing something more fundamental. Or we're doing something dumb, always a very real possibility. Is there a jumper, or driver that we're missing?
